Recipes for Glowing Skin

Homemade microdermabrasion and moisturizing-antioxidant mask:

Mix a facial cleanser suited for your skin type with 1/2 tsp of baking soda and gently massage it onto face, neck and chest in circular motion concentrating on dry and rough areas. Rinse with warm water Mix 1tbsp of organic oatmeal (from your children's breakfast!) with 2tbsp of honey and about 5 crushed blueberries and stir it into a creamy paste. Apply on face and neck and let it set for 15 minutes. Lay down comfortably and close your eyes taking 3 deep breaths and thinking of 3 things that make you smile. Rinse the mask with warm water. Finish up with toner and moisturizer suited for your skin type.

Blueberry Brightening Peel:

This at home treatment is not technically a peel but the yogurt adds to a gentle exfoliation due to lactic acid and combined with the antioxidants of blueberry it will fight aging, leaving your skin smooth and healthy. This is recommended for all skin types including sensitive and can be done 3 times per week. Blend together a handfull of fresh blueberries (they're a powerful antioxidant) with plain yorgurt (lactic acid). Apply on cleansed skin for 15 minutes and rinse it.

Brown sugar scrub:

Mix 1 cup of brown sugar, 1-2 tsp of cocoa powder, and 1 cup of olive oil in a plastic bowl. Gently scrub on dry skin. Rinse without soap so that you keep the antioxidants from the chocolate and the moisture of the olive oil on your skin.
